The Islands Jungle Restaurant & Bar in San Pedro

"It's sad how much of Ambergris Caye, just one road in from the coast, is treated as a trash can and needs a massive clean up. But just south of the airport, I found this restaurant on a wet day in January. It's a big, open sided, thatched roof bar set back off the road behind the only drive-through coffee shop on the island. Open really early for breakfast (breakfast served until 1pm) and for lunch and then dinner until late. The service is good, but the tables are a bit small for what is arriving! Great range on the menu (my menu pics are from Jan 2025 - prices are Belize dollars), and the food is tasty and plentiful. Pick outs are the jalapeño poppers, eggs benedict, even the plain chicken salad, but it's all good. Drinks are also good, but you might want to avoid the bloody Mary (now known by us as the bloody hell Mary)! A pint mug of dark liquid with chilli encrusted rim. Rest rooms are in a converted shipping container, but are OK. There is plenty of parking for your golf buggy and a good supermarket across the road, too."

"This is actually my favorite night spot in San Pedro very nice customer service a drinks very affordable compared to some more touristy locations . They have game nights on weekends a some weekdays they have sports on an I get my moneys worth on the food i order they usally have reggae play or a live band . I HIGHLY reccomend"

"We visited The Island Jungle for breakfast today. We were the only guests for most of our visit so it was very quiet. The eggs Benedict and the stuffed Journey cake were delicious. Prices are reasonable. The staff were friendly and served us promptly. I would recommend this unique restaurant to everyone. Its very large and serves breakfast until 1 pm. Reservations were not required for breakfast. I am not sure if they require Reservations for lunch or supper"

"Islands Jungle is a fantastic spot for all ages! We visited on St. Patrick’s Day, and the festive atmosphere did not disappoint. The large center bar is a great gathering spot, the music is lively but not too loud, and there’s plenty to do—including pool tables and activities for kids. The outdoor seating with patio furniture makes it feel extra inviting, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the vibe. Whether you're here for a family outing or a night with friends, it’s a great place to kick back and have a good time! Highly recommend!"

"Food was fantastic. Solid good for the money. General problem is flies everywhere. Burn incense or look for ways to keep the flies away. Overall, food was probably the best I have had in San Pedro."

"Posting this mainly to post current menus (same as Jan 2025 version, but updated dates help.) My veggie burger was OK, but nothing special, and really could have used a sauce for moisture. My wife enjoyed her pasta dish. The one downside was that it took over 50 minutes to get our food. Go before you're famished!"
